Auction post from the page: Facebook page

"Okidoki peeps! We now have an auction with a difference…
Salvage Kul.char have donated an exquisite, unique coffee table to be auctioned with all proceeds going to the Hole in the Wall Horse Project.

In our 21st century world, the ‘throwaway’ society has become the norm. Products aren’t even made to last for more than a couple of years any longer. This beautiful table is made from salvaged wood, crafted to become an haute couture item, never to be replicated. It has been lovingly pieced together by Jakkie Janse van Vuuren of Salvage Kul.char who has a passion for both the environment and the arts. This one of a kind coffee table has been stained in a light tint and sealed with exterior, low gloss, eco-friendly sealer, has the Hole in the Wall logo on, as well artwork of a horse’s head and a beautiful poem. A certificate of authenticity is supplied with the coffee table on re-purposed paper.

Size: 1200mm x 900mm x 300mm
Weight: 28,5 kgs

The table is currently in Gauteng and the cost of the transport is for the winner’s account, but it will be packaged correctly for transportation.

There is a reserve price on the table and should this value not be reached, we then we’ll unfortunately have to withdraw the item. Soooo, guys, let’s get bidding.

Starting price: R1,000, increments of R50.00. Auction starts NOW and closes on Wednesday, 03 July at 17h59 (last bid)."

2. PS.  a Salvage Kul.char product is featured on the Monday Brag Feature on the Graphics Fairy website.

I love this DIY Repurposed Pallet Table that was submitted by one of my readers using my new submissions page!  This beautiful table was submitted by Jakkie from Salvage Kul.char.  Jakkie created this amazing table using my Transfer Printable – Amazing Paris Ephemera, a discarded pallet, elbow grease, a bit of love and care,  homemade stain, and some nails and screws, resulting in a gorgeous rustic table!  I absolutely adore it, and can’t believe it used to be a pallet!
